Strategic Leader for Information Governance
We are seeking an accomplished
Assistant Director, Information Management
to lead our information management practices.
This is a challenging opportunity for a senior professional who can provide expert advice on the preservation, management, and access to information assets.
You will be responsible for ensuring knowledge of best practice and compliance with legislative, financial, and administrative frameworks, as well as government decision-making processes and agency guidelines.
A key aspect of this role is to lead a team of professionals, promoting innovation and continuous improvement in information management.
About You
We require someone with extensive experience in developing, implementing, and continuously improving records and information management governance frameworks within Australian Public Service (APS) agencies.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills, with proven ability as a trusted advisor to senior management.
Highly developed project management skills, including the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, manage competing priorities, and adhere to strict deadlines to achieve results in a busy environment.
A relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated professional experience in Records Management, Information Management, Knowledge Management, Archives Management, or a related discipline.
