**About the role**
The People and Culture Business Partner will work as part of a small but dynamic People and Culture team to provide HR operational advice and support to our people and people leads on all aspects of the employee lifecycle at Penten. As a people focused HR generalist, you will provide advice and guidance on all people related matters including coaching, performance management, engagement, culture, growth and development, and also be actively involved with the continuous improvement of our processes, systems and offerings.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide advice, support and guidance to our people and people leads across a range of people matters including coaching, performance management, engagement, culture, growth and development, and employment conditions and benefits.
- Develop strong relationships across the business to ensure People and Culture activities and initiatives align with our business units.
- Support the development of leadership capability across the business
- Provide support to the Talent Partner on all recruitment and onboarding activities
- Accountable for the administration of employee lifecycle activities
- Support the development and implementation of People and Culture strategies and initiatives to attract, retain, engage and develop talent.
- Support the development, implementation and improvement of people processes, guidelines and systems
- Build and sustain excellent working relationships with both our people and external stakeholders
**About you**
- You will be an experienced HR Generalist or HR Business Partner with a passion for people, with preference given to experience in a founder led business, start-up or new technology environment.
- High level communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting and respectful partnerships
- Sound knowledge of HR best practices and employment legislation and frameworks
- Ability to think on your feet and provide alternative solutions to resolve problems
- Resilient and the ability to work in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
- Ability to work in a high security environment with the upmost regard for confidentiality and working with sensitive information
