**Position Overview**

We are seeking a dynamic individual for the role of People and Culture Business Partner at Penten. In this position, you will play a crucial role in providing HR operational advice and support to our employees and leaders across all stages of the employee lifecycle. Reporting directly to the General Manager, People and Culture, you will take on the responsibility of managing projects within the People & Culture team.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Provide advice, support and guidance to our people and people leads across a range of people matters including coaching, performance management, engagement, culture, growth and development, and employment conditions and benefits.
- Develop strong relationships with our people and people leads to ensure People and Culture activities and initiatives align with our business units.
- Support the development of leadership capability across the business
- Mentor and coach our people leads in all people and employment related matters
- Provide support to the People & Culture Coordinator on all recruitment and onboarding activities
- Support the business through any change that may take place during the period of the term
- Take the lead on developing and preparing people analytics for the business as required
- Take the lead on People & Culture projects as required.
- Support the development and implementation of People and Culture strategies and initiatives to attract, retain and develop talent as required
- Support the development of workforce planning initiatives to enable future growth
- Partner with people leads to support the implementation of employee engagement initiatives
- Support the development, implementation and improvement of people processes, guidelines and systems
- Build and sustain excellent working relationships with both our people and external stakeholders
- Other tasks as directed within the persons skills, competency, experience, and capabilities.

**Qualifications, knowledge, and experience**
- Demonstrated work experience as a HR Business Partner, with preference given to experience in a start-up, founder led business or new technology environment
- Experience developing relationships and partnering with people at all levels of an organisation
- Sound knowledge of HR best practices and employment legislation and frameworks
- Demonstrated working experience in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment
- Formal qualifications in human resources or a related field would be highly desirable
