Our Customer Adoption Teams work closely with Coupa Customers globally to continue to increase adoption, maximise value & drive best practices, ensuring our Customers get the greatest value from their Coupa platform.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work towards becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
- Develop best practices within your areas of expertise and be a champion for their adoption.
- Help customers focus on their goals and drive the engagement towards continuous improvement.
- Manage multiple customer engagement initiatives and multiple customers.
- Forge strong partnerships with customers and colleagues.
- Manage the CAM engagement with a customer using strong project management practices while also developing solutions to business problems.
- Take ownership of your customer's continued success by ensuring proper adoption of the platform.
- Engage customers in enlightened business need discussions versus feature/function basics. Continually drive customers toward their strategic goal.
- Provide a strong technical understanding of our product with the ability to discuss and demonstrate the full Coupa platform and how it may be configured to meet a customer's business needs.
- Create and/or improve templates, training and presentations.
- Share relevant prior experiences with customers and colleagues.
- Provide assistance to colleagues where needed.
- Work well in both individual and team settings both on and off client sites.
- Manage customers where up to 25% of your time may include travel.

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of experience in Procurement, Procure to Pay, Source to Contract, Sourcing and Category Management, or Accounts Payable
- Experience with Software as a Service is a must.
- Minimum bachelor's degree required or equivalent related experience - master's degree a plus
- Good background in customer/client management
- Strong communication skills including professional writing skills, verbal skills and experience presenting to customers
- Strong organizational skills
- Analytical thinking
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a team environment and share best practices regularly
- A bias for action and be comfortable with navigating complexity and ambiguity
- A relentless customer champion, stopping at nothing to ensure their success.

How to stand out:

- An understanding of Procurement and/or Finance processes.
- Be able to build a strong relationship with the customer, creating a solid plan for optimisation and maximisation of the use of the platform
- Strong curiosity of understanding how things work. Don't be satisfied with just knowing the answer, have the desire to understand the underlying fundamentals.
- High energy team player with a bias for action. A 'can do' attitude to work that needs to get done as part of a high-growth / fast paced company, and all the dynamics involved.
