**About the Role**

This newly created position will play a key role in establishing internal communications capabilities to support delivery of the Workskil Australia strategy. The Internal Communications Specialist will lead projects and initiatives that improve communications and engagement outcomes, and will work closely with business areas to provide advice on communication strategies and to deliver targeted internal communications.

**Key responsibilities**
- Provide advice to the business on communication and engagement strategies.
- Lead projects and continuous improvement initiatives that improve communications and engagement outcomes.
- Champion internal communications initiatives through influence and engagement.
- Partner with business areas to prepare and distribute targeted internal communications that support internal updates and announcements, campaigns, stories and change management.
- Support the development of content, including drafting and copy-editing, to ensure communications effectively convey key messages, are consistent in tone and style, and are tailored to suit the audience and channel.
- Own and manage internal communication channels including SharePoint Online.
- Support staff engagement events including corporate roadshow, town hall, workshops and leadership forums.
- Measure and evaluate engagement with internal communications, and the effectiveness of communications channels to inform continuous improvement.

**About** you**

To be successful in the role you will have:

- Experience delivering internal communications and change management.
- Experience working with CMS platforms (ideally SharePoint Online).
- Experience working with Microsoft Teams.
- A customer centric approach and genuine interest in supporting our diverse customer groups.
- Ability to deal with complexity, and exceptional problem-solving capability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to 'tell the story'.
- High-level interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage stakeholder relationships.

You will also be required to:

- Have a Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Communications or similar.
