Medical Education Programme Lead

Job Opportunity:
Medical Education DirectorWe are seeking a skilled Medical Education Director to lead the development and implementation of medical education programs in Tasmania.
- Manage Junior Medical Officers, Interns, and Resident Medical Officers
- Collaborate with local Post Graduate Medical Council representatives on prevocational education and training
- Support the Office of the Executive Director of Medical Services on postgraduate and vocational medical education
- Provide leadership and help with the delivery of the Undergraduate general medical education program
- Hold specialist registration or be an International Medical Graduate (IMG) on the specialist pathway
- Current Driver's Licence desirable

- Essential criteria: holds specialist registration; or is a registered Medical Practitioner who is an International Medical Graduate (IMG) who is on the specialist pathway; or is a registered Medical Practitioner who is an International Medical Graduate (IMG) who has a recognised overseas specialist qualification and is assessed as having sufficient experience in the speciality
- Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role
