A medical professional is required to manage junior medical officers, including interns and resident medical officers. This role involves supporting the executive director of medical services on local and state-wide responsibilities in postgraduate education and training.
- Manage junior medical officers, namely interns and resident medical officers.
- Collaborate with postgraduate medical council representatives on prevocational education and training within the region.
- Support the office of the executive director of medical services on responsibilities related to postgraduate education and training.
- Provide leadership for the delivery of undergraduate general medical education programs.
- Holds specialist registration or is a registered medical practitioner who is an international medical graduate on the specialist pathway.
- Has a recognised overseas specialist qualification and sufficient experience in the specialty.
