About The RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Community Engagement Coordinator.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining effective partnerships across multiple employment services areas
- Establishing, maintaining and nurturing strategic partnerships with disability services, RTO and TAFE's, schools and other community groups
- Increasing commenced caseloads through relationship building in the community
- Facilitating collaboration between external partnerships and our teams, to ensure participant needs are addressed
- Attending and supporting industry events, market days and showcases, representing us to employers, service providers and participants
- Generating monthly reports and profiles, collating partnerships within our Partner Portal
- Supporting our network of employers on adoption of disability employment practices
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in Employment Services, with knowledge of disabilities and the disability support sector
- Strong skills in identifying, assessing and developing new opportunities aligned with business strategy
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and the ability to manage competing demands
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Proven project management skills, with the ability to take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion
- Self-motivated, autonomous and capable of maintaining strong relationships both internally and externally
- Attention to detail, high standards of professionalism and customer service excellence
- Must hold a Driver's license as travel throughout the region will be required
