We are seeking expression of interest for Continuous Improvement professionals.
About the Role
We're seeking a passionate Continuous Improvement professional to train, coach and guide team members through continuous improvement processes and help develop the sites continuous improvement culture. This position is responsible for sustaining and improving the continuous improvement programs across site. Work as part of, and closely with, the site leadership team to prioritise and deliver all areas of the CI program, and to assist the leadership team deliver the site's strategy and business goals. Which include but are not limited to, Safety, Quality and Cost as part of our strategic plan.
This site is advanced in its continuous improvement journey but has plans to be best in class, so there's plenty of opportunity to make your mark alongside a passionate and committed site team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Build a lean mindset in team members across all disciplines- Design and deliver manufacturing cost improvement across the site- Provide leadership and coaching to teams to establish procedures and standard work- Foster a strong safety culture across the manufacturing team- Liaise with various workgroups ensuring alignment and achievement of broad plans and strategies
About you- Tertiary qualification in a technical or relevant discipline to manufacturing- Experience in Best Practice in a FMCG environment (dairy experience advantageous)- Sound knowledge of LEAN manufacturing or Manufacturing Excellence (Six Sigma belt advantageous)- Ability to train, lead, coach and develop team members, and engage with a variety of stakeholders- Capable of managing change and bringing other along on the journey
