**THE ROLE**
A new and exciting opportunity to join Origin's Compliance team department is now available. We are looking for a Group Compliance Leader who is passionate about Continuous Improvement and committed to establishing strong compliance frameworks.
This role plays a pivotal role in supporting Origin's Retail business improve its compliance related systems and frameworks and ensure they are designed and implemented to meet best practice.
The role is also responsible for:
- Proactively working with the Retail business unit to embed the principles and objectives of good compliance management
- Providing practical and pragmatic advice to the business to improve maturity of compliance governance and drive a culture of compliance.
- Keeping up to date with external developments and best practice compliance management across other industries
- Delivering insightful management reporting on compliance risks and issues, driving root cause analysis and providing recommendations for continuous improvement to prevent issue reoccurrence and mitigate risk.
- Drive compliance awareness and compliance culture across Retail
- Develop and maintain internal stakeholder relationships and external networks
- Mentor a broader team across the Retail Compliance team and Retail business unit
- Strong leadership and communication skills for motivating teams, creating alignment to organisational goals
- Significant capability in coaching, and empowering teams and driving a high performance and highly engaged culture
**IS THIS YOU?**
If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, enjoy challenging the status quo and you are outcome orientated. You will also have or can demonstrate:
- 8+ years in compliance management in a dynamic and highly regulated business
- Extensive knowledge of and firsthand experience with best practice compliance frameworks
- Experience partnering with business leaders to achieve compliance outcomes
- Able to efficiently diagnose issues and recommend effective actions to rectify
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Passion for improvement focus
- Tertiary or other relevant qualifications in compliance management will be desirable
