**About the role**:
This position plays an important role in helping Austin Health to deliver on it's strategy and build the capability of its people. Key focus areas will include executive and leadership development, performance planning, employee engagement, and talent management and succession planning. Key responsibilities include:

- Partnering with the leadership team to drive the design of a leadership development strategy for Austin health
- Review and maintain the existing leadership development framework and expand development programs to build employee capability
- Ensuring effective talent management and succession planning frameworks are developed and supported
- Leading the development of the organisation's performance review and development framework, systems, and tools
- Leading Austin Health's approach to culture and employee engagement through the development of a listening strategy and the use of survey tools and planning activities
- Working with internal stakeholders and P&C business partners to develop capability development approaches that support delivery of the Austin Health's strategy
- Ensuring the LMS is managed appropriately and updated
- Optimise the mix of in house/outsourced solutions and related vendor management
- Managing a forward-looking plan and calendar of key OD activities

**About you**:
Ideally, you'll have:

- Experience in leading the design and implementation of leadership development strategies and programs
- Experience in leading the development and implementation of OD programs and strategies in medium to large sized organisations (such as talent management, succession planning, performance management, and cultural change)
- Highly developed interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Demonstrated ability to influence at a senior management level.
- Experience within a large complex environment
