**About the role**

With a strong pipeline of new projects in the mixed use and residential sectors, Development Victoria is seeking a Development Manager to join our team to assist with our Riverwalk Development. As a Development Manager you will be a key part of the development team focusing on this strategic development and working closely with our public and private sector partners and engaging with communities.

Key responsibilities include:

- Assisting the team through the planning, design, construction, marketing, and sales, as well as the settlement phases to deliver on Development Victoria's objectives.
- Accurately monitoring cashflow and processing all project related invoices.
- Developing project briefs, Principal's project requirements and other project documents.
- Preparing, monitoring, and updating project programs.
- Coordinating and reviewing project documentation.
- Contributing to management plans and ensuring HS&E obligations are met.
- Keeping stakeholders up to date with issues and developments as directed.
- Participating in community forums and engagement workshops.

**Desired Skills and Experience**:
**About you**

You'll be able to demonstrate high level management expertise in the delivery of complex, multidisciplinary projects together with exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. You'll have hands-on experience managing developments and preferably experience operating in a highly complex public-sector environment.

Ideally you will have;
- Tertiary qualifications in property development, construction, civil, or equivalent experience.
- 4-5 years' experience in managing large scale master planned residential communities.
- Prior experience in dealing with engineering and design consultants, contractors, suppliers, and customers.
- Experience working in a corporate, property-related organisation.
- An in-depth understanding of, and previous experience preparing and analysing, feasibility studies, project programmes, budgets, costs, and profits.
