**About the Team**

Located at MILVEHCOE in Redbank, Ipswich, the Project Management Office team is responsible for guiding the successful delivery of programs and projects through the provision of strategic and operational support including scheduling, reporting, risk management and document management.

This multi-skilled team supports RDA's business including secured projects, bids and internal projects and is responsible for creating and implementing the governance processes in line with company policy and applicable standards.

**About the Role**

Having responsibility for ensuring that project data is registered, distributed and dispositioned correctly, the **Data Manager** will help create and maintain a strong and consistent data management governance process across Rheinmetall Defence Australia.
- As a
- ** Data Manager, **you can anticipate some of your day-to-day tasks to include:

- Perform document control and management of project information in support of the project team;
- Registration, distribute and disposition project documentation in accordance with documented policies and procedures;
- Provide support, guidance and governance to the project teams;
- Supports document management systems and related methodologies, that allow the organisation to capture, store, retrieve, share, and archive electronic records and documents;
- Advance consideration of information management through support, mentoring and training of project teams;
- Provide backup Systems Administration for the Project Document Management Systems;
- Assist with problem solving of Document Control issues, and contribute to the process of continuous improvement;
- Process mapping of information flows, and assisting with creation of procedures, work instructions and help guides;
- Maintain, monitor and report DM baselines and version control;
- Ensure contractually complaint transfer of deliverables and correspondence; and
- Proactively identify and drive process and data quality improvements.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:

- Demonstrated experience in Data Management;
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, MS SharePoint and PDM systems;
- Distinct knowledge and experience in data/documentation management;
- Target-focused, structured and independent working approach, analytical mind and reasoning;
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Ability to influence people from different levels of the organization; and
- Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (must hold Australian Citizenship).
