Cloud Security Specialist Position
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing robust security solutions across complex cloud landscapes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain comprehensive security architectures using industry-leading frameworks and guidelines.
Design multi-project infrastructure configurations utilizing cloud-based tools and services.
Architect identity and access controls leveraging advanced authentication and authorization techniques.
Define network security designs involving firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols to protect against external and lateral threats.
Implement data protection strategies using secure data storage solutions and encryption methods to safeguard sensitive information.
Integrate threat detection and incident response systems to build automated workflows and enhance overall security posture.
Embed security into continuous integration and delivery pipelines using container security scanning and cloud native security tools.
Develop and enforce continuous compliance frameworks using industry-recognized benchmarks and standards.
Lead architecture and threat modeling workshops to identify and prioritize risks, then architect mitigation strategies that align with organizational risk tolerance.
Requirements:
Extensive experience designing and implementing enterprise-grade security solutions on cloud platforms.
Deep knowledge of cloud security ecosystems and corresponding best practices.
Proven expertise in secure cloud infrastructure, identity and access management, network security, data protection, and security operations.
Strong understanding of leading security frameworks and compliance standards (ISO 27001, PCI DSS, HIPAA).
Demonstrable experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Deployment Manager.
A track record of leading threat modeling and risk assessment activities.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and advise diverse stakeholders.
A proactive, analytical mindset with a passion for continuous learning and innovation in cloud cybersecurity.
