Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will have expertise in cybersecurity and risk management, with experience in providing strategic and tactical advice to clients.

About the Role

  • The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong understanding of risk assessment standards and frameworks.
  • They will be able to work on multiple client matters at once, with minimal supervision.
  • A high level of professionalism, integrity and a strong work ethic are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic and tactical advice to enhance client cybersecurity posture.
  • Support the design and development of cybersecurity strategies and cyber maturity roadmaps.
  • Create and update information security policy frameworks.
  • Perform cybersecurity current state assessments and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop security awareness plans and conduct threat modelling and risk assessments.
  • Conduct security architecture assessments and perform third-party security risk assessments.
  • Assist in the planning of client deliverables and participate in post incident reviews.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in cybersecurity or a related field.
  • Industry-recognised security certifications such as SABSA, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC or SANS.
  • Previous advisory and consulting experience in relation to cybersecurity engagements.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cloud infrastructure security practices.
  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
