As a Despatch Controller based in our Dandenong South site, you will be responsible for ensuring all customer orders are dispatched on time with all relevant paperwork processed accurately to meet business On Time Performance. Reporting to the Warehouse & Distribution Manager, this is an opportunity to work in a friendly supportive team where your contribution will be valued.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Run daily shipping reports to ensure delivery dates are met and coordinate with Customer Service for any matters related to orders
- Coordinate with Shipping Operators to manage efficient workflow of products to be picked for local, interstate and export orders
- Complete lodgements and coordinate freight collection after providing required logistic documents for airfreight, sea freight and local orders (e.g. Health and Veterinary Certificates)
- Complete consolidation of consignments and release shipping paperwork in a timely manner for local and interstate deliveries
- Liaise with relevant departments within the organisation to have goods available to be despatched on time
- Organise and complete pallet process (e.g. dockets, online processing, communication of corrections, balancing)
- Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts
- Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records and ensure accurate communication to nominated parties

**Job Requirements**:
**Skills and experience**

To be successful in this role you will have:

- At least one years' experience in logistics, freight forwarding or supply chain environment
- A tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Business, similar discipline would be highly advantageous
- Strong experience using SAP
- Excellent computer skills, MS Office Suite, particularly Microsoft excel
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to 'think outside the box'.
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills, with careful attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety, raw materials, food regulations, sanitation and/or production process is desirable
