We are seeking a hands-on Leading Hand to support our Operations and Production Supervisor in overseeing daily team activities. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth operations across purchasing, inventory, production paperwork, and outbound despatch, with a strong focus on accuracy, supply continuity, and efficiency.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating despatch and outbound freight with logistics partners
  • Managing purchasing, supplier communication, and procurement planning
  • Overseeing inventory control, receipting, and cycle counts
  • Completing final quality checks on products before despatch
  • Closing work orders and ensuring accurate production paperwork
  • Supporting the team, leading by example and resolving any issues constructively
  • Daily people support and leadership on the factory floor

YOUR SKILLS

You will bring proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

  • 3+ years' experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with some experience in procurement, dispatch, and inventory management
  • Strong forecasting and planning skills with attention to detail
  • Previous leadership or team coordination experience
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving ability
  • LF Forklift license (essential)

Pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening, is required.
