Our client is an award winning winery with 6 vineyards nationally and a network of exceptional growers nationally. As Cellar Door Manager you will effectively oversee and run their city cellar door with the aim of increasing wine sales and revenue in line with the overall brand strategy. Your role will entail day to day venue management as well as driving corporate, event and wine subscriptions.

Key responsibilities:

- managing and motivating the cellar door sales and venue team including the food service function and also providing ongoing staff training
- ensuring a premium, seamless customer experience through promotional initiatives, facilitating wine tasting events, education and operational improvements
- overseeing inventory management and stock control and revise and implement cellar door policies and procedures
- all day to day operational responsibilities and recruitment as required to provide a premium cellar door experience
- developing and implementing sales plans and procedures to achieve sales budgets including strategies to increase database and club membership and corporate sales
- working closely with the marketing team to ensure events are executed appropriately

- a level of flexibility with working hours (please note you are not required to work every weekend)
- experience managing budgets, forecasts and expenses
