Boat O'Craigo is a second generation family-owned and run business. This year celebrates 20 wonderful years of growing and making our wide range of small batch estate wines which punch well above their weight on quality and price. Our cellar door is located on and overlooks our picturesque Healesville vineyard at the foot of the Black Spur Range and is bounded by the Graceburn Creek. Our cellar door prides itself on delivering a professional yet relaxed and friendly atmosphere with a great team of tight-knit staff delivering outstanding customer service and hospitality. This is why our staff love working here and why customers come back time and time again.

The last 3 years in particular have seen the business and cellar door grow significantly so we are now looking to recruit a range of new members to our friendly team. We have opportunities for all ages in sales, kitchen and front of house roles all reporting to the Cellar Door Manager.
- Assistance with opening and closing procedures
- Meeting and greeting customers on arrival
- Actively promoting and selling our range of wines
- Explaining and encouraging membership of our wine club
- Conducting individual and small group wine tastings with customers
- Taking food orders and waiting tables
- Maintaining general site cleanliness and presentation
- Making coffee and assisting in the kitchen as required
- Stock control and register operations
- Promotion of and compliance to responsible service of alcohol (RSA)

Job Requirements

We are able to consider a range of employment options according to your skills and availability. These roles are well suited to people living in Healesville or surrounding areas within commuting distance who are well presented and looking for a fun place to work. We have a great team at the cellar door so we are looking for people with a confident, friendly and positive personality and attitude to compliment the team. We will also consider students or travelers with work rights who are able to commit for a period of at least 6 months.

We are a big family at Boat O'Craigo and we are looking for confident, enthusiastic, warm, friendly and customer-focus people. Ideally, we would like people with some wine sales experience behind them. As a minimum, you have a strong interest and enjoy drinking wine yourself. Current RSA certification is essential. Food Handling certification would also be an advantage.

Applicants must have Australian citizenship/residency or a valid existing Australian work visa.
