You are passionate about sustainability and home furnishing. You drive the operational focus and oversee the daily operations of the Product Recovery & Quality department, whilst ensuring co-workers approach their tasks with a strong focus on the customer transaction. You have good attention to detail, are solution focused and have a cost-conscious mindset. You have proven ability to be assertive and under pressure you remain calm when faced with stressful situations. You ensure the work area is effective for our customers', and cost-efficient for the store by coordinating and supporting the team. You drive the team to give products a second chance while keeping product quality, product compliance, circularity and sustainability top of mind.
**Responsibilities**:
As the Product Quality Coordinator your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Handle customer product quality concerns and returns by doing the initial inspection, providing feedback and
if necessary, securing the inspected product until further action is instructed.
- Create product quality and compliance awareness in the store by educating co-workers on what product quality
is, how to detect and how to report product quality issues.
- Block and report goods that have potential quality problems by issuing and creating store quality reports (SQRs)
in the Claim Case Support System (CASY).
- Block goods according to safety and sales stop routines, report quantity through Quality Stock Requests (QSRs),carry out and follow-up actions requested by IKEA of Sweden and Quality Support Centre (QSC).

The Product Recovery & Quality department in the Sales function is a vital link in the success of the business working to recover costs by repacking and selling both damaged products, written off products and customer returns. As the busy hub of every IKEA store, a fantastic opportunity awaits those seeking a deeper understanding of the commercial internal processes and our product range. Championing sustainability and product quality, this department will allow you to sink your teeth into some complex problem solving.
Additional Information
This opportunity is permanent full time 76 hours per/fortnight.
