Using your understanding of food manufacturing, your main duties will include:
Enhancing and advancing the overall quality of the product;Supervising, training and managing rosters for the QC team;Being integral in the daily functions of the Production Management Team;Utilising your knowledge base to ensure adherence to all food standard accreditations throughout the processWriting and amending documents with high levels of attention to detail;Developing processes and procedures in alignment with standards;Ensuring cross business compliance;Communicating effectively with colleagues and external parties;Supporting break-downs with the Engineering team, to maintain the integrity of the product; andBeing involved in internal and external audits

(which include HACCP, the major supermarket chains, SQF, organics etc).This role requires you to be a hands-on leader with high quality and compliance standards. You will place a high importance on attention to detail and process, be forward-thinking and fast acting. You must be confident in communicating such matters to your immediate team, the wider business and external parties.
