We're working with a major utilities organisation undertaking a significant transformation of their core business systems.
They're seeking a hands-on Oracle Delivery Lead to take ownership of delivery, bridge the gap between business and vendor, and ensure clarity, confidence, and control every step of the way.This is not a role for someone who hides behind governance or gets lost in the detail — it's for someone who can do both : roll up their sleeves on the technical side and influence at the business level.Why this role matters As the key liaison between the technical vendor and the business, you'll ensure the organisation doesn't get "bamboozled" by overly technical jargon.
Instead, you'll bring confidence, direction, and practical expertise to ensure Oracle ERP / HCM solutions are delivered fit-for-purpose and aligned to future business needs.What you'll be doing :Lead the delivery of Oracle ERP / HCM solutions across the migration and implementation lifecycle.Act as the bridge between business and vendor, ensuring requirements, risks, and issues are clearly understood and managed.Provide hands-on expertise in Oracle ERP / HCM, validating designs, guiding test planning, and supporting delivery activities.Drive stakeholder engagement, influence decisions, and ensure successful outcomes across HR, Finance, and broader business domains.What's non-negotiable To be considered, you must bring :Proven Oracle ERP or HCM implementation experience (Fusion, JDE, EBS, PeopleSoft – all relevant).
Strong SQL skills – hands-on experience, not just conceptual knowledge.A track record of working closely with vendors and technical teams to ensure solutions are delivered right, first time.What's nice to have :HDL / FDBI experience.Fast Formulas expertise.Scripting experience (Groovy / APEX).
