Seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead key strategic initiatives within a government team

**Your new company**

A government organisation based in the surrounding suburbs of Perth CBD, are seeking an experienced Project Delivery Manager to lead a number of complex projects and / or major change initiatives. This opportunity is being offered on a 12-month temporary engagement, working full-time hours and paying a competitive hourly rate.

**Your new role**

As the Project Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for leading a number of complex projects and / or change initiatives within a key program of the business. Your duties will include:

- Leading key strategic change initiatives
- Acting as a key representative for the program, participating in a variety of internal and external stakeholder meetings / discussions
- Manage resources, budget, project schedule, risk and issues to ensure successful project delivery
- Collaborate with the wider project team to provide regular status updates and communication to the wider organisation
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to improve project delivery
- Undertake other duties as required to support project completion

**What you'll need to succeed**

In order to be considered for this role, you will demonstrate:

- Advanced experience in leading and managing complex business changes / improvement strategies
- Advanced experience in managing complex business projects, with a confident understanding of project management methodologies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence in managing supplier / vendor relationships
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
