Your New Role and Responsibilities
The JCSE team supports the advanced systems at Headquarters Joint Operations Command (HQJOC)—a critical hub for multi-agency collaboration and command of Australian Defence Force operations.
With 113 integrated operational spaces, HQJOC relies on seamless system coordination to ensure mission success.
The Change Coordinator, plays a key role in managing change activities across our technical team, ensuring smooth implementation and alignment with ITIL processes.
The role will:
Coordinate end-to-end change activities, including raising, reviewing, and progressing changes.
Maintain high-quality documentation and support change governance processes.
Facilitate the Forward Schedule of Change and assess scheduling impacts.
Support release and project planning in collaboration with team leads.
Ensure adherence to departmental change processes and assist with after-hours release coordination.
What You'll Bring to Make an Impact
Experience in a change management environment, ideally within ITIL frameworks.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to documentation quality.
Proactive and inquisitive approach to continuous improvement.
ITIL V3/V4 certification preferred; service management or project qualifications desirable
