Due to an internal promotion this exciting opportunity will see you join our clients' fantastic collections team where you will start your finance journey by building a career in a rapidly growing firm. With great employee initiatives as a Collections Officer some of your responsibilities will include:

- Conduct outbound and inbound passive collections calls
- Take end to end accountability for accounts which are assigned to you
- Identify customers experiencing financial hardship
- Understand & comply with all regulatory requirements & quality standards
- Liaise with customers providing excellent customer service finding the best solution
- Identify & recommend customers for alternative collection activities repossessions & legal action

You will demonstrate the following:

- Previous experience in a collections role or a banking, credit or customer service role in the finance sector
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate
- You will display a willingness to go above and beyond for the customer
- Solutions focused and the ability to make decisions to resolve customer financial situations
- Works well in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities and manage expectations
- A proficient user of technology with strong computer skills in MS Office Suite
- Display high standard of confidentiality & diplomacy in dealing with sensitive matters
