The role of the National Return to Work and Injury Claims Coordinator will be to effectively manage the return to work and administrative aspects of injury claims (including workers compensation claims), in order to achieve the best possible recovery and return to work outcomes for injured workers within Fletcher Building in Australia.

About the role
- You will be predominantly liaising with injured workers, supervisors and treatment providers to coordinate early return to work and recovery at work for injured workers.
- Part of this role will be completing accurate and appropriate case notes of communications in the injury management database, regarding return to work coordination activities.
- Drafting formal, written return to work plans, in accordance with jurisdictional and Fletcher Building requirements.
- Working with our people to monitor return to work progression and actioning/ escalating as appropriate if progression goes off-track.
- Promoting the benefits of early and safe return to work and recovery at work following injury, within the Fletcher Building Australia Division.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant legal requirements regarding individual return to work plans.

- We need a person who is a strong communicator. You will be dealing with stakeholders in times where your guidance and compassion will be required.
- Ability to form quick but meaningful relationships. Your stakeholders will range across the business and with external providers.
- You will be able to manage your priorities and work in an agile environment.
- Most of all, you are resilient, have the ability to manage periods of stress and have a high level of emotional intelligence.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordination certification/ training (or similar).
- Demonstrated rehabilitation and return to work coordination experience, preferably in a national or Victorian setting, for a minimum of 2 years.
- Demonstrated knowledge of, and experience in, workers compensation claims management, preferably in a national setting.
- Strong Microsoft Office, administrative and injury management database experience (SolvInjury experience very highly regarded).
