**Your new company**

A large not-for-profit organisation are currently looking for a WHS & RTW Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis. The role will be based on-site at their warehouse facility in Glendenning; however, it also offers working from home flexibility.

**Your new role**

Reporting to the COO, you will coordinate injury management, workers compensation and health and safety practices at all locations. You will be expected to build and maintain relationships across all parts of the business and be an advocate for safety and wellbeing.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Be a champion for workplace safety and help drive a culture of accountability for health, safety and wellbeing.
- Manage work and non-work-related illness or injury employee cases and provide proactive support.
- Provide proactive coaching, guidance and advice to supervisors to support return to work outcomes as well as employee safety and wellbeing generally.
- Manage workers compensation claims and non-work-related illness or injury to ensure successful return and/or recovery at work.
- Create a program that uplifts reporting of incidents and hazards across the business.
- Support the monitoring and review of the WHS Management System and the review of trends in incident and hazards data to identify and address emerging WHS risks.
- Manage WHS investigations in a timely and proactive manner.
- Support employee consultation on matters affecting health and safety, with a focus on injury prevention.
- Ensure appropriate records are maintained of all injuries and illnesses occurring at the workplace as well as mandatory safety training attendance and refresher training.

**What you'll need to succeed**

Tertiary qualifications in WHS and RTW
- Experience in a similar Injury Management, RTW, Workers Comp or WHS role
- Sound knowledge of injury management and workers' compensation legislation
- Proven performance in improving return to work outcomes and reducing the impact of claims costs
- Hold a current driver's license
- Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion
