Category Manager - Asia Pacific (Tools, Welding, Workshop Supplies)We are seeking a talented, dynamic, and commercially savvy individual with demonstrable experience in retail category management, driving innovation and leading a capable team.
You will have overall responsibility for the growth and profitability of the category.
This role is based in NSW/VIC/QLD.ResponsibilitiesOptimise sales and profit, managing inventory to annual budget targetsLeadership of the category teamDevelopment and execution of a customer-focused category strategy in a Trans-Tasman omni-channel businessIdentifying market/product opportunitiesDevelopment of product ranges and competitive promotional calendarRange reviewsDevelopment of strong internal and external relationshipsMaintain effective relationships with domestic and OS suppliersQualificationsA strong commercial acumen and merchandise/category background, Omni-channel preferredAnalytical skills with a keen eye for detailLong-term strategic thinking and planning abilityExperience working in a cross-functional environmentOutstanding communication skills, collaborative and relationship building abilitiesAn inspirational leadership styleAbility to convince various stakeholders, business network and suppliers in different regions to support category strategies and initiativesA team player, who is focused on successA valid driver's license is essentialWhy Motion?
