We're now on the lookout for an experienced **Construction Supervisor** to join our Medium Density Construction team supervising builds based in the **Western and Eastern suburbs.**

Reporting directly to the Construction Manager, this role is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the construction process of allocated dwellings and projects.

You will focus on ensuring the smooth management of our medium-density construction projects and all key internal and external stakeholders to deliver an outstanding product to the market.

**Key areas of responsibility include**:

- Inspect work at each stage and have any defects rectified before progressing
- Follow up and rectify any incomplete items identified in independent quality inspections
- Aim to build on or before forecasted completion dates
- Monitor costs and ensure any money spent over budget is cleared by the Construction Manager
- Ensure that subcontractor and supplier payments are accurate
- Observe and promote safe work practices and keep up to date with policies and procedures

Your success will be measured by your ability to exceed our expectations in the following areas:

- **Build times**- we're all about Respecting the Dream of our clients and so we're looking for you to utilise your project management and workflow scheduling skills to effectively manage contractors and suppliers.
- **Budgets **- you'll already have a successful track record in managing budgets, extras to order, trade services and materials to deliver against the allocated budget
- **Quality Control**:

- here we're simply talking about ensuring all homes are built to Porter Davis standards before final inspection, they meet Australian Standards and Building Codes and your trades respect these expectations
- **OH&S** - ofcourse safety at the site is paramount for us and your role will be pivotal in observing and promoting safe work practices in compliance with all policies and procedures

**Who we're looking for**:
You'll take ownership of ensuring all homes are completed to standards before final inspection and that they comply with the Australian Building Codes and possess the following:

- Previous experience as a Construction Supervisor is **essential**:

- Ability to demonstrate an outstanding customer service approach, along with strong people and project management skills
- Strong people management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to accurately interpret plans and specifications
- Highly motivated, resilient, and outcome-focused individual
- Strong focus on quality along with process improvement and problem-solving
