Altus Traffic currently has an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and diligentAccounts Payable Supervisorbased in Unanderra.
Working in a fast paced, dynamic environment with the business enjoying tremendous growth, both organically and through acquisition.
This is an opportunity to join a fun and collaborative team, working full time in the dynamic operational office environment.
As a key part of the Finance team, applicants must be able to demonstrate high attention-to-detail and be diligent in following up relevant parties do ensure deadlines are met.
Key Duties
Monitoring, supervising and directing of accounts payable team based in Manila, in processing timeframes, ensuring accurate completion and approvals within established deadlines
Appropriate follow up and follow through of outstanding items
Generating of fortnightly AP ledger, liaising with TLFMA regarding vendor payment runs
Processing of payment runs, ensuring all invoices are authorized by management with appropriate delegation prior to processing payments
Maintenance of Accounts Payable register, ensuring issues are resolved promptly
Providing quality and timely customer service to vendors
Processing of payment data for bank reconciliation
Performing vendor statement reconciliation, ensuring all reconciling items are followed up
Seek opportunities to collaborate with the team to enhance processes and procedures
Undertake any other duties, projects or activities as reasonably directed within the scope of the employee's skills, competence and training
Skills & Experience
Demonstrated experience (3+ years) in accounts payable , in a medium to large size organization.
Experience in leading and coaching a cohesive and accountable team, including organizational and mentoring skills.
Experience in dealing with offshore teams highly regarded
Ability to consistently achieve goals, work autonomously and prioritize work tasks to achieve defined deadlines
Advanced computer literacy, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications and the use of accounting software.
Previous experience in Sage will be highly regarded
Ability to work as an effective team member and deal with other staff with tact, understanding and encouragement in performance of duties
Excellent and professional verbal and written communication skills
Focused with the ability to work under pressure
