Job Description
Process a high volume of accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently.
Ensure timely payment of invoices and adherence to payment terms.
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Manage communication with vendors regarding payment inquiries and clarifications.
Maintain accurate and organised records of financial transactions.
Assist in month-end closing processes related to accounts payable.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable Officer should have:
Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar role within accounting and finance.
Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to handle high volumes of data accurately and efficiently.
Strong communication skills to liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders.
A problem-solving mindset with the ability to address discrepancies effectively.
