**Good Group Hospitality** is a leading New Zealand Hospitality Group with restaurants & bars in Auckland, Queenstown, Sydney and Melbourne.

We are seeking an energetic, Reservations & Events Manager to join our team in Melbourne. This role is across multi work sites and across multi brands.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Assisting the Venue Managers and Events Managers to execute an exciting variety of events
- Maintaining records of all bookings on the SevenRooms reservation system
- Supporting the Events Manager with logístical and administrative support
- Dealing with in-bound sales enquiries to increase the per-head spend for booked functions
- Liaising with our amazing clients and suppliers
- Completing administrative tasks in the lead-up and post-event
- Ad-hoc duties at events including, but not limited to, guest list management & greeting VIP guests

**Experience and Knowledge**
- Understanding of hospitality industry
- Previous experience with SevenRooms or a similar booking system is preferred
- Demonstrated commitment to the principles of customer service

**Personal abilities / aptitudes**
- Strong communication skills - written and oral
- Well-developed organisational skills
- Able to think outside the square
- Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage time and tasks efficiently
- Willingness to learn
- A high level of commitment and reliability
- A proven multi - tasker and problem solver
- The ability to effectively prioritise competing requirements
