Cumulus Inc. is seeking a skilled and passionate Event & Reservations Coordinator to join our team.

Open since 2008, Cumulus Inc. has become an institution on Flinders Lane, firmly part of Melbourne's cultural and dining fabric. Housed in a turn-of-the-century rag trade building, the space hums from midday until late, celebrating the very best of Victorian produce with a seasonal, ingredient-driven menu. Our diverse and distinctive spaces host guests for a variety of occasions — from casual catch-ups in our main dining room, bespoke activations and wine events in our Upstairs spaces, to large-scale weddings in the striking Arc One Gallery - Cumulus Inc. provides an exceptional and highly versatile setting for memorable gatherings.

About the Role

Our Event & Reservations Coordinators are the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for managing reservations across the dining room and private spaces while planning and coordinating events from start to finish. This role ensures a seamless guest experience — from the moment of inquiry to the day of the event — and plays a key part in optimising our bookings and service flow.

The coordinator works closely with guests, vendors, and our internal teams, ensuring every reservation and event reflects the high standards of hospitality that define Cumulus Inc.

What you'll bring

• 2+ years experience in hospitality event sales + coordination and/or hospitality reservations
• Exceptional organisational and time management skills
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail, the confidence to conduct client meetings, site inspections, and post-event follow-ups
• A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences
• A love and understanding of what elevates an event from good to great
• A fresh set of eyes with a desire for continuous improvement
• The ability to champion a positive, respectful and proactive work environment
• Experience with Tripleseat + Sevenrooms is highly regarded
