Responsibilities
Educate and engage production staff in relation to GMP requirements and quality standards around production lines.
Conduct daily checks and line-walks on production lines to ensure CCPs, QCPs and X-Ray checks are met.
Conduct GMP audits and internal audits that verify quality and production processes.
Assist quality manager with internal and external audits.
Maintain site document control and procedures so that the operational procedures comply with established practices and standards.
Provide food safety and quality training to production staff.
Continuously verify the level of training of all staff is sufficient in food production and that personnel responsible for food safety have the appropriate skills and knowledge.
Investigate non-conformances and conduct root-cause analysis.
Advise production and management on quality performance and systems.

Qualifications
Previous experience in the same role or a similar role.
Initiative and energy to deliver within deadlines.
A strong passion for quality with the ability to work independently and cooperatively in a team.
High attention to detail, problem solving and decision-making skills to achieve desired outcomes.
Ability to drive a quality culture and support the operations team through processes.
