Responsibilities- Educate and engage production staff in relation to GMP requirements and quality standards around production lines.
- Conduct daily checks and line-walks on production lines to ensure CCPs, QCPs and X-Ray checks are met.
- Conduct GMP audits and internal audits that verify quality and production processes.
- Assist quality manager with internal and external audits.
- Maintain site document control and procedures so that the operational procedures comply with established practices and standards.
- Provide food safety and quality training to production staff.
- Continuously verify the level of training of all staff is sufficient in food production and that personnel responsible for food safety have the appropriate skills and knowledge.
- Investigate non-conformances and conduct root-cause analysis.
- Advise production and management on quality performance and systems.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the same role or a similar role.
- Initiative and energy to deliver within deadlines.
- A strong passion for quality with the ability to work independently and cooperatively in a team.
- High attention to detail, problem solving and decision-making skills to achieve desired outcomes.
- Ability to drive a quality culture and support the operations team through processes.
