Responsibilities
  • Educate and engage production staff in relation to GMP requirements and quality standards around production lines.
  • Conduct daily checks and line-walks on production lines to ensure CCPs, QCPs and X-Ray checks are met.
  • Conduct GMP audits and internal audits that verify quality and production processes.
  • Assist quality manager with internal and external audits.
  • Maintain site document control and procedures so that the operational procedures comply with established practices and standards.
  • Provide food safety and quality training to production staff.
  • Continuously verify the level of training of all staff is sufficient in food production and that personnel responsible for food safety have the appropriate skills and knowledge.
  • Investigate non-conformances and conduct root-cause analysis.
  • Advise production and management on quality performance and systems.
The Person
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in the same role or a similar role.
  • Initiative and energy to deliver within deadlines.
  • A strong passion for quality with the ability to work independently and cooperatively in a team.
  • High attention to detail, problem solving and decision-making skills to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Ability to drive a quality culture and support the operations team through processes.
