Food Quality Assurance Specialist

This role involves educating and engaging production staff in relation to good manufacturing practices (GMP) requirements and quality standards around production lines.
The key responsibilities of this position include conducting daily checks and line-walks on production lines to ensure that critical control points (CCPs), quality control points (QCPs), and X-ray checks are met. Additionally, this role requires conducting GMP audits and internal audits to verify quality and production processes.
Ongoing tasks also involve assisting the quality manager with internal and external audits, maintaining site document control and procedures, and providing food safety and quality training to production staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Prior experience in a similar role or related field is highly valued.
- Initiative and energy to deliver within deadlines are essential.
- A strong passion for quality, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, is necessary.
- High attention to detail, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are required to achieve desired outcomes.
- Ability to drive a quality culture and support operations teams through process improvement is crucial.
