We're embarking on an ambitious project to build a cutting-edge platform from scratch, with the back end being re-engineered in Go.

The environment is state-of-the-art: Go microservices in Kubernetes, APIs (including GraphQL), cloud-native infrastructure, and high-volume, high-availability systems built to scale nationally and internationally.
**Lead Engineer Role:**
Develop architecture and set code quality and delivery standards
Collaborate with technical stakeholders on new services and features
Mentor and develop engineers, helping scale the team as the platform grows
Contribute directly to core Go microservices
**Senior Engineer Role:**
Own backend feature delivery end-to-end
Collaborate within a strong engineering team
Contribute ideas that influence architectural choices
**Responsibilities:
Designing and building brand new Go microservices for a multi-tenant SaaS platform
Implementing APIs (REST/GraphQL) to expose core business functionality
Optimizing for performance, reliability, and scalability from day one
Bringing fresh ideas, suggesting improvements, and shaping the stack
**Requirements:**
3+ years' commercial Go experience minimum
Strong backend engineering and system design skills
Proven ability to own complex features from concept to deployment
Leadership experience for Lead role (mentoring, guiding projects or teams)
Experience in microservices/Kubernetes/cloud environments
Strong communicator who thrives in a collaborative culture
**Nice to have:**
Exposure to React or TypeScript
Knowledge of Temporal, GraphQL, or event-driven systems
