Expert Platform Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled platform expert to join our Global Investor and Distribution Solutions (GIDS) Platform Services team.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, building, and supporting Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solutions on both cloud-based infrastructure and AWS.
  • You will be responsible for provisioning and maintaining infrastructure for application teams across various environments.
  • Your role will involve driving platform stability, reliability, security, and performance through proactive engineering and support.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a global team to deliver value streams faster while ensuring platform reliability and resilience.

  • You will collaborate with teams across multiple regions to support daily operations and promote best practices.
  • As part of our follow-the-sun on-call support model, you will ensure platform availability and performance.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a platform-related role for senior-level candidates.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in cloud system engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, especially Terraform.
