Employment Type: Permanent Part-Time (minimum 60 hours per fortnight, GWE)

About the role:
As Planning Officer, you'll support port logistics by ensuring planning systems, purchasing, and compliance processes are delivered accurately and in line with operational needs.
Maintain up-to-date data and records in logistics systems to support operational planning
Deliver high-quality customer service by resolving issues and working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders
Ensure compliance with operational standards, including NHVR, customs, and biosecurity requirements
Support purchasing and planning tasks to align with customer agreements and business targets
Monitor service levels and provide updates to meet internal and external reporting requirements
About You:
You're organised, detail-oriented, and skilled at working with logistics systems and stakeholders alike.
You'll also bring:
Relevant tertiary or experience in a logistics, supply chain, or port operations role
Knowledge of NHVR, customs, or biosecurity regulations
Experience using TMS or other freight and cargo management systems
Strong customer service focus and the ability to build effective working relationships
Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)
Flexibility to work at short notice, including irregular hours and weekends when required
