Corporate Planning Officer

The Office of the National Rail Safety Regulator (ONRSR) is seeking a skilled Corporate Planning Officer to drive strategic planning and performance processes. This newly established permanent role involves collaborating closely with senior leaders, providing expert advice, and influencing organisational outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, implementing, and continuously improving corporate planning frameworks to align with strategic priorities.
  • Developing key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitoring progress against the corporate plan.
  • Preparing regular progress reports and advising on improvements.
  • Working closely with the Chief Executive and executive management committee to support strategic planning and performance reporting.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience leading corporate planning functions at a senior or executive level.
  • Extensive knowledge of strategic planning methodologies and performance management frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to interpret data and trends.
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders through effective consultation and collaboration.
  • Commitment to integrity, accountability, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Experience in research and preparing high-quality documents.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital collaboration platforms.
