
Assistant Reservations Manager

Summary
The Assistant Reservations Manager is responsible in assisting with the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. The Assistant Reservations Manager is responsible in support the Reservations Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the Department and work closely with Sales and Marketing as well as other pertinent Rooms Departments to maximize Room Yield through Inventory Control while delivering exceptional customer service. Being meticulous at administration ensuring that every detail of a customer's booking has been accurately recorded following established procedures. Additional responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, overseeing the group sales and reservations process, monitoring and assessing all lost business reports, monitor and implement strategies for Internet distribution channels, and training and development of all reservations related personnel.
**Qualifications**:
- 2+ years in Hotel Reservations and management experience preferred
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience with forecasting and revenue management
- Proven ability to follow through and meet deadlines. Work under stress.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external clients and supervise a team
- Possesses self-motivation, organization and prioritizing skills and great time management
- Willing to work a flexible schedule and other rooms areas
- Knowledge in Hyatt's reservation systems such as Opera, Envision, Onyx,HotSos, Medalia and Reserve next to Outlook, Word and Excel
