Overview
We are working with a leading international firm who are looking for a Solicitor to join their Corporate team within their Sydney office.
The Role:
The successful candidate will join an established and well-regarded team, providing a diverse range of corporate services, including public and private M&A, joint ventures, private equity, venture capital, and corporate advisory. The candidate will support the team across a variety of sectors, including technology, IP, antitrust, tax, real estate, and employment. The candidate will play a key role in advising a diverse range of international and domestic clients on high-profile and cross-border corporate law issues. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to contribute to business development while managing client relationships.
Responsibilities
Provide corporate services including public and private M&A, joint ventures, private equity, venture capital, and corporate advisory.
Support the team across sectors such as technology, IP, antitrust, tax, real estate, and employment.
Advise international and domestic clients on high-profile and cross-border corporate law issues.
Contribute to business development and manage client relationships.
Qualifications
2-4 PQE
Strong background in corporate law, M&A, and cross-border transactions in a large international or City firm
Strong commercial awareness
Outstanding academics
Technically excellent
Willingness to be involved in business development
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
