Seeking an experienced Trades qualified (Electrical/Mechanical) Project Officer to run small, ongoing projects. Well known company based in Kwinana.

We are partnered with a well-known national brand for the recruitment of a new Projects Officer, focusing on small electrical and instrumentation projects. This role is based in Kwinana, and will operate Monday to Friday, full time hours. You'll be offered an exceptional hourly rate, and great site working conditions as you would expect from an organisation of this size.

This contract is due to start asap and will run for an initial 6-12 months, with the potential to be extended and grow your career within their business. Other contractors we have placed at this site have gone on to build long-term careers here, and we want you to be next.

Reporting into the Project Supervisor, you'll be responsible for management and supervision of electrical and instrumentation projects utilising labour resources, and oversee the day to day activities of contractors.

In terms of your background, you'll have a valid electrical licence and experience with small projects as a lead. You'll also ideally have:

- Trade Certificate. Electrical (preferred) or Mechanical
- Experience in electrical/mechanical installation or maintenance within the mining, chemical or mineral processing industry.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and standards.
- Working experience of standard software including any computerised maintenance management software
- Experience with supervising a team of employees or contractors
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work unsupervised.
- Highly effective influencing skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Able to manage a large portfolio of projects.
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and police check
