Seeking an experienced Project Officer to provide Secretariat support in Cockburn - Immediate Start

**Your new company**

A large, busy State Government department, located close to Cockburn Central train station is seeking an experienced Project Officer to commence immediately on a full-time basis for an initial period of 6 months.

**Your new role**

As a Project Officer, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

- Providing administrative support to the branch to achieve project goals and milestones
- Coordinate meetings, workshops and briefings, prepare and distribute agendas
- Take meeting minutes and any follow-up actions, as required
- Draft internal and external correspondence
- Other duties as required

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Knowledge and experience in project implementation, including the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and interpersonal
- Highly developed organisational and time management skills with an ability to meet tight deadlines
- Administration skills including scheduling meetings, compiling agendas and minutes, and drafting official correspondence.
- Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to manage a diverse workload in a timely manner
