**About the Company**:
Foodbank is the largest hunger relief charity in Australia, operating on a scale that makes it crucial to the work of the front-line charities that are feeding vulnerable Australians.

**About the Role**:
Our client, Foodbank WA, is seeking a motivated Project Officer to join their team to provide support on a variety of projects within Foodbank WA, ensuring that projects stay on track and achieves their milestones. In addition, the role is responsible for maintaining project documents to track project progress. The role requires excellent organisational, communication, project management, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities include:

- Supporting and overseeing particular aspects of projects and implementations, including developing and monitoring project plans and critical project documentation, coordinating resources, and monitoring budgets to ensure the timely achievement of project milestones.
- Completing analysis and research tasks that provide valuable input and insights into project feasibility and development.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements within Foodbank WA and developing project plans to manage change requirements effectively.
- Preparing and regularly updating a range of project-related documents as required, including status updates, reports, and discussion papers ensuring key information is readily accessible.
- Contributing, along with other staff members, to the smooth running of the office by answering phones, and assisting with basic office administration.
- Delivering assigned projects and processes within agreed deadlines whilst meeting high-quality standards.
- Accurately updating information in key reporting and CRM systems in addition to creating bespoke project reports as required.

**Job Requirements**:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will have the following:

- Relevant Project Management qualification (or equivalent experience).
- Demonstrated high level of competency with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Advanced change management skills.
- Experience communicating and negotiating with a range of individuals.
- Experience with Project software - e.g., Microsoft Project, Visio.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Have a passion to make a difference in WA, within a Non-Profit Organisation

**Desirable**
- Previous experience working in a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience with a broad stakeholder group including management, staff, Board of Directors, and external groups.
- Understanding of not-for-profit organisations and community-based Human Services Provision.
- PROSCI Change Management qualification.

**Other Requirements**
- Australian Citizen/ Permanent Resident with valid Australian work rights
- Current and valid WA driver's license
- National Police clearance (or the ability to obtain one)
- Be willing to obtain a medical assessment of current health
