We're looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to join this progressive government entity.
In this role, you'll provide comprehensive HR consultancy, advisory, and transactional services across the business.
You'll be a key partner in delivering people services, driving workforce planning, and leading important change projects.
What You'll Do
Lead Recruitment: Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring we attract top talent while adhering to government policies and legislation.
Provide Expert Advice: Serve as a trusted advisor to the business, interpreting awards, agreements, and legislation to guide best practice and continuous improvement in performance.
Manage HR Operations: Oversee various HR processes including performance management, employment contracts, and grievances.
Develop Strategy: Help develop, implement, and evaluate people strategies, policies, and practices that align with organisational goals.
Support Employee Growth: Coordinate learning and development initiatives, including managing the LMS (ELMO), to develop staff and foster continuous improvement.
Handle Data & Reporting: Prepare briefing notes and reports for various departments and agencies.
Contribute to Our Culture: Coordinate initiatives that support our Strategic Workforce and Diversity Plan, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and equitable workplace.
What We're Looking For
Broad HR Experience: You have a solid background in a wide range of HR functions, including workforce planning and developing innovative HR strategies, policies, and systems.
Consultancy Skills: You're a confident HR consultant with a deep knowledge of current HR practices, trends, and relevant legislation.
Relationship Builder: You excel at building and maintaining trusting relationships with stakeholders at all levels to achieve corporate objectives.
Problem-Solver: You have highly developed research, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a knack for creating innovative HR solutions.
