Website Development Manager - Fashion eCommerce

Are you a dynamic Website Development Manager with a passion for fashion and technology? Join our team as we embark on an exciting total website rebuild for our iconic brand We're looking for a talented individual who can lead our web development efforts, manage a small team (1 on shore plus 2-3 offshore) and drive innovative solutions in the fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the complete redevelopment of our eCommerce website, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
- Manage and mentor an in-house developer and coordinate with a small offshore team to deliver new features and integrations (technologies used are Javascript and Node.js)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and the major vendor to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
- Implement best practices in software development and agile methodologies to enhance team productivity.
- Monitor project progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to keep our platform competitive.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Web Development Manager, Dev Lead or similar role within a retail or fashion environment.
- Strong knowledge of eCommerce platforms, specifically Shopify and BigCommerce.
- Experience managing or leading small development teams, both in-house and offshore.
- Experience in at least one ground up website build, with a heavy preference on this being in the fashion/retail/luxury goods industries.
- Excellent project management skills with a focus on delivering results.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Passion for fashion and a keen eye for detail.
