AGA is on the lookout for an individual to work in a reputable organisation to provide support for implementation of Local Laws, Parking Laws and Animal Management Service by administering and enforcing all Acts and Regulation in an efficient manner. Individual should be able to provide information to internal and external stakeholders in a consistent, coordinated ad courteous manner.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Monitor all parking restrictions adhering to policies and procedures
- Investigate complaints and enquiries regarding parking problems and issue infringement notices where applicable
- Assist in administration and enforcement of school crossings
- Proactively investigate and record breaches and non-compliance to local laws and other relevant legislations
- Assist with briefs of evidence in relation to non-compliance with various legislations
- Investigate all animal related matters such as collection of animals, dog attacks and wandering animals
- Conduct off-leash area patrols
- Assist with implementation of education and enforcement programs designed to maximize levels of registered and microchipped dogs and cats
- Proactively investigating and recording of non-compliance with Domestic Animals Act 1994
- Assist with inspections of Domestic Animal Businesses
- Assist in creation and implementation of Domestic Animal Management Plan

**Requirements**:

- Driver's license and personal transport is required to be successful in this role
- Willing to undertake police check
- Willing to obtain Working with Children Check
- Must be Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Must be up to date with Covid 19 vaccinations
- Willing to complete the traineeship within 24 Months
- Full time role
- Position is based in Broadmeadows with the expectation for the trainee to work across different locations as required.

**AGA Apprentice will**:

- Attend accredited RTO/TAFE training
- Receive ongoing mentoring & support
- Receive a weekly wage including entitlements
- Receive personal protective equipment
