**Health & Safety Advisor opportunity**
- **Approx. $65-$75 per hour plus Super dependent on experience**:

- **Full-time, 3 months contract. End of July Start.**:

**About the role**

**Responsibilities and duties**

Reporting to the Senior People Partner, your responsibilities and duties will include:

- contributing to the analysis, review and development of a risk profile, hazard, incident and injury data by identifying local priority areas, evaluating opportunities and making recommendations for sound and practical improvement.
- providing health and safety services across the entire employee lifecycle, including, but not limited to hazard and incident investigations, monitoring of corrective action and risk assessments.
- representing a People Services Hub team and is a key point of contact regarding Health & Safety issues or problems.
- providing on-the-job education and training to managers, colleagues and staff in health and safety suite of programs, systems and practices.

**Key Selection Criteria**

To be successful in the role, you will need:

- Extensive knowledge, skills and experience in the implementation, maintenance and review of safety. management systems (AS/NZS 4801:2001, SafetyMap or equivalent) and safety audits.

**Qualifications/Technical Expertise**
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or a related discipline.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent.
- Required to possess a current Victorian Driver Licence.
- Experience in the use of computerised programs in particular Word, Excel and Access.
