Architectural Business Development Manager
CSR Martini represents one of the most respected and progressive names in polyester manufacturing. Developed, tested and manufactured in Australia, CSR Martini provides a wide range of products to meet the growing demand for high quality polyester products in the Commercial interior fitout segments.
We currently have an opportunity for a versatile Architectural Business Development Manager to facilitate the specification of CSR Himmel and Martini acoustic products in commercial projects and provide support to architects, acoustic engineers and other targeted specifiers to develop new business.
As the Architectural Specifications Business Development Manager, you will be using your current networks and establishing new relationships with Architects, Designers, Builders and End-users Nationally, promoting products, completing tenders, and winning projects to drive sales with corporate, healthcare, hospitality, education and government projects. You will influence all stakeholders involved in the decision-making process and will ensure all specifications are upheld and confidently specified within their documentation.
The Role
- Deliver a customer experience that leads to repeat specification and usage across the product portfolios including Himmel, Martini and eventually Gyprock & Cemintel.
- Develop and deliver an accurate and up to date Sales Pipeline.
- Grow existing client's usage of Interior Systems products through specification and project targeting in the commercial building sectors
- Deliver a tailored product and service offering to meet customer needs
- Grow market insights by interpreting and using market data reports
- Identify and prioritise market and customer growth opportunities
- Provide product education through CPD or seminar series to educate architects and specifiers on performance of Interior Systems products, including comparison to competing products and systems
- Develop presentations and present to industry participants.
- Forecast by customer product for specific project requirements and sales team follow up, and budgeting purposes.
- Ensure the effective handover of specified projects to the Commercial sales team.
- Comply with WHSE authorities in accordance with the responsibility's matrix

The Person
- Proven track record of specification sales working closely with Architects and Designers;
- Acoustic Technical specification experience;
- Solid history driving new business growth in the Technical, Manufacturing, Building or related sectors;
- Have the confidence and ability to present, negotiate and close lucrative deals while forging strong relationships with end users and suppliers;
- Ability to work autonomously and have exceptional communication skills.
